Wix development I do

  • Wix Studio websites. Design and build, including content management, blog, booking and online shop.
  • Wix Headless builds. For a site or tool that needs more than Wix's editor can give.
  • Moves to Wix Studio from older sites.
  • Custom Wix apps and features, from someone who builds them for the Wix App Market.
  • Wix consultations. One conversation about your Wix question, with a written summary afterwards.

Questions people ask about hiring a Wix developer

Is Digital Vision a Wix developer near Cardiff?

Yes. Digital Vision is a one-person Wix studio based in Wales, run by Pete Griffin. It works with businesses in Cardiff, across Wales and the rest of the UK.

What should I look for when choosing a Wix developer?

Five things. Check they are a Wix Partner: Wix lists its partners publicly. Ask which Wix product they will use (Wix Studio, or Wix Headless for custom builds) and why. Make sure the site, domain and accounts end up in your name, not theirs. Ask to click through work they have built, not just see screenshots. And get the scope in writing before any work starts.

Can you build an online shop on Wix?

Yes. Wix Studio sites with an online shop, bookings, a blog and content you can edit yourself, and Wix Headless builds when a shop or tool needs something Wix's editor can't do.

How do you keep a Wix project good value?

Every project is scoped in writing before work starts, so you know what you are getting. One person does the work from first conversation to handover, so nothing is lost between a sales team and a build team. If you only need advice, a Wix consultation is a single conversation with a written summary afterwards.

Why work with a Wix App Market developer?

Building apps for the Wix App Market means working with Wix's code, data and app platform directly, not only its editor. Digital Vision has four apps live there, the first since 2014, so when a site needs something custom, it can be built rather than worked around.

Do you only work in Wales?

No. Digital Vision works with businesses in Cardiff, across Wales, the rest of the UK and beyond.
